Security breach
On 13 May 2014 15:45:07 +0000, as our internal logs show, there was a successful breach of our system.

One of the accounts that holds access to the server was compromised by a third party and used to upload modified copies of existing pages with a JavaScript intended to spread malware. There is no evidence that other actions were taken against our system.

We have disabled the account in question and restored a backup of the modified pages. Furthermore, we’ve compared existing binary files in our system with copies stored in backups and have not found any discrepancies nor signs of adulteration.

The likelihood of infection on your system depends of the amount of outdated software you have installed. Software such as the internet browser, Flash Player, Adobe Reader and Oracle Java should be kept always updated as they are the preferred targets of cybercriminals.

The administration recommends that you to empty your browser cache and perform a full scan of your system with an antivirus software as we suspect you might have been infected.

Regards,
