LOL @ ioncube
There is an old article here about "Trusted Zend Extensions"

If you click the link in "On pages like this they claim this is another (optional) security feature" a secret feature of the ioncube website comes into play (only works if your browser sends referrer header)

Quote:I have read that ionCube is Anti Open Source - is this true?

Certainly not, and in fact, nothing could be further from the truth as we endeavour to offer maximum compatibility for our software in different environments. Although you may have read some false accusations in a blog to this effect from someone who twisted the meaning of "untrusted extensions" and the contents of this page to imply that we are, unfortunately the blog owner regularly uses their blog as a platform to attack others in a deliberately provocative and unpleasant manner, and checking their facts is sometimes of little importance. As the author also chooses not to listen to others and to censor replies to their blog, they would not allow us the opportunity to make our position clear and to correct the misinformation.

We are sorry for any confusion caused by the actions of the individual concerned, but as Terry Pratchett says in his books, "a lie can run around the world before the truth has got its boots on", and this has never been more true than with blogs.

Confused

Regards,
NewEraCracker
