so ioncube is gr8 tech n all that. maybe its hardest challenge for any hacker, but what about other stuff?? smart card hacks, chips'n pin tech, os/phone hacks. no one do any other interesting stuff? cmon sidxx/cwk/newrea, u gotta be curious?

I agree. would be nice to see RE stuff not just for php. for me RE is fun and nice hobby but not job. people pay me for C++ code and if no shoppers i would have no job
we do need shoppers.

shoppers in '' (read > decoding services), a time ago this simbiosis (it was beneficial for two parties) live very well, encoders dont improve protection for 3 years if iam not mistaken, quinvent make decoding for money, encoders make monney and decoders make money, any way times go change, and OpenSource based famous protection (php is open) opened without crack any loader (VB decoder is good example) => encoders edit new version and pay decoding services drop prices i think its right way, sometime Google present 60k$ - part of 1 million $ total for crack GoogleChrom and its normal for browser protection as be vulnerability and then infected
