Yes it does seem to be surviving reboots.

Do I dare turn on auto updates? I don't need to as I can simply use
Code:
http://windizupdate.com
but it would be nice to receive the updates automatically again.

I noticed when I download the wga.exe tool from M.S. and entered the code it found me 'valid' so I'm assuming its safe to turn back on updates but I don't want to if its not safe?

Automatic updates can be turned on, It isn't likely for Microsoft to disable this activation bypass method.

It just logs out everytime I columnist yes to , "do you wish actuate windows now".

Install AntiWAT in safe mode (without networking).

1. Download AntiWAT to an USB storage device
2. Start your computer
3. Press F8 after boot messages repeatedly until you see windows boot menu
4. Plug the USB storage device with AntiWAT inside
5. Select Safe Mode
6. Login as admin and install AntiWAT
7. Reboot

If you run any anti-virus add freewat.dll to antivirus exceptions.
