KMS License Server (pyKMS) Release Date: March 21, 2014 (Updated 2016)
Hello,
I have built a somewhat lightweight KMS server (sometime ago but haven't really published it until now), you can run on your internal network to activate any Windows edition supporting KMS activation. It's based on py-kms latest sources (2014-03-21T232943Z) and runs as a Windows service. Be sure to use adequate firewall rules to prevent unwanted access to the KMS functionality. Microsoft.Windows.KMS.License.Server.(pyKMS).2016-NEC.MDL instructions: 1) Extract this to C:\ so final path should be C:\pyKMS 2) If you haven't installed yet, you need .net 2.0 and VC2008 redistributable. 3) Run 'install.bat' to install the service 4) Run 'start.bat' to start it for the first time To remove this, run the 'stop.bat' and then 'uninstall.bat'. You need to set appropriate firewall rules for C:\pyKMS\x86\pyKMS.exe or C:\pyKMS\x64\pyKMS.exe depending on your CPU architecture. My recommendation is 'Windows Firewall with Advanced Security' and allowing only the IPs from the systems you need to activate. This is not a standalone activator. You need to install KMS keys on the computer(s) you want to activate and point them to the IP of the KMS server (where you installed this tool). This is an INTERNAL solution. Please keep it private. Built from OpenSource tools at https://forums.mydigitallife.net - Makes sense to open-source. This KMS server software is provided for non-commercial evaluation and educational purposes only. By using this software, you acknowledge that it is intended solely for use in environments where you have the appropriate licenses and permissions to activate software products. This tool is designed for internal use within organizations that have valid volume licensing agreements. Users are encouraged to ensure compliance with all licensing agreements and legal obligations. The author and distributors of this software assume no liability for any misuse or legal issues arising from its use. Please use this software responsibly and in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations. Sharing my technical experiences. Opinions are my own.
