Microsoft Longhorn Professional: Help Activating
I can run activation against the actual activation serial for
Microsoft Longhorn Professional 4074 and it says Thank you, and Please Enjoy continuing using Windows. So this leads me to believe that we have activation tokens now, i dont know where they are or how to back them up, however now the downhill spiral -> TweakNT you can remove the timebomb, for some reason i wasnt paying attention but its booting... and when it passes the 180 day activation limit FROM the date of timebomb regardless if its been activated and the timebombs been removed it will login loop.... now i havent tested patching setupreg.hiv except for the machine i have here that sits at date 2005 because it cant go before that, and im using a VM , and VISTA on one Computer with XIMAGE to deploy the Third Partition of the WIM to Boot it, itll boot into setup is preparing windows and login-loop..... so eventually both virtual and actual machine will activation loop, but the laptop DOES run build 4093 its just why one would do that is i dont know that has a undocumented CM.exe and Database of Uninstalled windows components and no guide on how to install them.. Its let me install the Sigma Group Modification <- using VMWare you bind it to the partition, let it install from the iso and then on the Thank You Restarting Now screen, Shut it off<- now on the Root of Windows Vista you need a NST folder, and you need to copy NTLDR and NTDETECT.COM to the root of the Vista Drive, as well as in the NST Folder... and use BCDEDIT.exe to set up a NTLDR entry pointed to the D: Drive as Microsoft Longhorn Professional and itll crash on startup then drop you right to the Desktop/Login... this is on sandybridge.. your partition order should be C:\Windows = Longhorn D:\Windows = Vista as partitioned by windows vista... it can be the same disk it doesnt matter, but Vista will think its C:\ and Longhorn will think its C:\ as word of advice i advise if setting up longorn anyway you can save to the vista drive just use it as a scratch disk for when if ever having to reinstall for whatever reason |
